BARKs use the WordPress platform only and the Wild Apricot hosting platform to subscribe to our digital magazine. We do not outsource any of our communication to any other companies or communication platforms nor do we ever share subscribers lists, email contact information or any other membership or subscription information you provide when you join or subscribe to this site

At any time, you can log in to your account with BARKs and edit your subscription profile. To safeguard your information, we advise you choose a secure password and update it regularly. If we ever use a third-party mail platform to communicate with you it will be sent from our main BARKS email address, so you can easily identify the sender and you will have the option to immediately unsubscribe and be requested to confirm your opt-in preference.

Like most website operators BARKS collects non-personally-identifying information (“NPII”) of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. The purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how our site visitors use the website, where they are referred from and how long they stay on the site.
